How long will it take to install?

A standard back-to-back split system installation (where the indoor unit is mounted under 3.0 metres away from the outdoor unit) should take a competent installer approximately 4-6 hours. If the indoor unit is mounted much further from the outdoor unit then the installation will take most of the day if not a day and a half.

A ducted unit installation will take anywhere from 2-3 days to a week or so depending on how complicated the system is.
